# Admin Console: the Admins Tab

Tutorial·8 January 2016·3 min 37 sec

An overview of the Admins tab, which governs who can administer the DreamFactory instance itself — distinct from the end users who consume its APIs. Part of the Admin Console series.

**Recorded in 2016.** The concepts still apply, but the interface shown predates the current DreamFactory release. The Admin Console has since been redesigned — see [Introducing the Redesigned DreamFactory Interface](https://www.dreamfactory.com/videos/new-admin-ui) for what changed.
